Emblem was formed with a specific goal in mind of taking what has previously been dubbed as complicated and expensive experience and turning it into a cost effective and simple process.
Although possessing a vast wealth of technical knowledge the Emblem team are able to speak in a language you can understand, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable design process from start to finish. Every project is different, and every client has different needs, but no matter how big or complex a project may be, our first priority is ensuring that our client fully understands our work process being employed, so when you consult with us on your project, you will understand your options, the costs involved and how long it will take to get you where you want to be. Our design process first begins meeting with you to discuss and brainstorm the creation of their brand and website, During the discovery stage we begin by asking a list of questions customized for you, so that we can build a picture of what you hope to achieve with your design. If necessary we will arrange a meeting to discuss any special features. This will lead to the creation of the Design Brief.
Using the information collected in our meeting, understanding general needs of your brand, we get to work developing outline of the project goals. We then provide a full list of services to choose from, (tailored to your budget and brand needs) in a detailed quote for the your approval and revision, (Payment methods and workflow depend on the specific project) which we will present to you for approval before proceeding.
Once approval on the Design Brief and Project Scope is agreed, we can begin to visualize design style. This is done in 2 careful stages (design visualization / design finalization) in which we progressively clarify how the design will look and function. Following the design brief, we deliver a presentation. A concept of the creative definition of the your project, based on your specific needs. When approval is made the design is defined, continuing on into development.
After the desired design is approved, we than move on to the development stage, in which we tree online drafts:
– Draft Approval – We will present you with first website draft, is which is uploaded to a non-public Internet address for your approval at this stage of the process you can request changes to the draft.
–Second Draft Approval – Based on the changes you requested we will send you a second draft with changes made.
–Design Freeze – Once you are happy with the overall design we will place a freeze on the design. At this stage you can request minor changes such as text changes.
Once your website is complete we require the balance to be paid before your website goes live on the Internet. After which we test the site for broken links, web browser functionality, Mobile response compatibility and coding.
We also provide a support service, as part of your first year’s hosting package we’ll keep an eye on your site to make sure it keeps working as it should. We’ll update the servers and the software when required and keep the site secure and in tip-top condition.
